"DCBuilders recently remodeled our kitchen and bath/laundry room. This job also included the removal of a chimney that include the basement, 1st floor & 2nd foor. Additionally challenging was that the cabinets were purchased prior to the project without a lay-out plan. We wanted to use as many of the cabinets as we could and Matt and his team made that happen.

They were on the job when they said they would be there. They coordinated with other aspects of the remodel such as the plumber, electrician and tile installer. The workers were respectful of our home, protecting both old and new. The crew was also friendly and courteous. I appreciate the outstanding work you and your work crew did on the recent exterior replacements of our roof, screened porch and privacy fence. We have received countless compliments from our neighbors regarding our home’s enhanced appearance. It was a pleasure working with you throughout this entire process.
There are several points I want to note regarding working with DC Builders, LLC:

• No pressure discussions – Matt listened to what we wanted, presented options and offered spot-on suggestions.
• Matt’s quote was detailed and timely.
• Working with Portage Lumber, we were able to keep the project materials local. The Portage Lumber staff was very helpful and accommodating – working seamlessly with Matt and DC Builders. Portage Lumber even located a remnant carpet section for our porch – saving us over $100.00.
• Matt kept an eye on the weather and instead of rushing the projects; he waited a few days for rainy weather to pass. Matt was in regular contact with me about the projects and the weather!
• Matt and his crew were organized, friendly and thoroughly cleaned the work site at the end of each day. There wasn’t a single shingle scrap left behind – and the crew repeatedly checked driveways and walkways for nails.
• Whenever questions arose, Matt was quick to give me a call or idle a portion of a project until I was able to offer my input. He was helpful in providing examples of options from brochures or magazines in addition to product samples.
• Tangible impression that Matt and his crew were attending to detail as if working on their own homes.
• Final invoice was identical to the quoted proposal.

I would strongly recommend DC Builders, LLC for any new construction or renovation project. I look forward to working with Matt and his crew on additional projects, and regret that I didn’t contact him three years ago when we updated our home’s interior.
